Notwithstanding, after a Sunday meeting with Miss Ireland organisers , it has come to light that Miss Mayo does not meet the age requirements affiliated to the Miss World Pageant and so must relinquish her crown to 1st Runner up who is the beautiful Miss Wright Venue, Rebecca Maguire.

“We are absolutely thrilled for Rebecca. She has put her heart and soul into the competition and has been an absolute pleasure to have on board as Miss Wright Venue 2012. We look forward to supporting Rebecca and her awaited success throughout the Miss World Pageant” said a representative from The Wright Venue.

Rebecca, who was hot favourite to win, will enjoy her official crowning ceremony in the luxurious Penthouse Bar & Gardens of The Wright Venue on Saturday, May 12th at 10PM. Join us for some bubbly, canapés & a huge celebratory party.
